I bought this because I saw good reviews about it in TikTok, and I ran out of the shampoo I usually use and couldn't get one on my hands immediately, so I thought, why not give this a shot? Worst decision ever. I struggled with dandruff since I was little, and it has gotten a lot better since then, but this shampoo brought it back and more intense. It doesn't do anything but leave build-up on the scalp. I used to wash my hair 2-3 times per week using the shampoo I usually use, but using the Monday shampoo, I have to wash my hair every day, and even then, dandruff is still subtly visible, my hair gets oily within a day, and it makes my scalp unusual itchy. Overall, I do not recommend this shampoo at all!

After using this shampoo and conditioner duo I feel like I have way more build up on my scalp even when i use a scalp scrubber and make sure to rinse thoroughly. I usually shampoo twice and even after a hair wash day I still have build up and I don’t have oily hair usually. Pretty disappointed with this.

This shampoo and conditioner absolutely ruined my hair. I have experienced my fair share of bad products, but never have I experienced this strong of a negative reaction from other hair care products. The first two pictures I have attached (straight hair & dark leather jacket ones) were my hair one week before I started using Monday shampoo. The second two pictures (sunny one & mirror pic one) are from the past couple weeks; you can see the dead, frizzy, undefined rats nest it created. Aside from the picture with straight hair, these were all taken after air drying with no products in after a wash with shampoo and conditioner, as I have always done. My hair is now dry, brittle, thin, sticky, frizzy and tangled. I have been having hair fall out in clumps and break off similar to breakage from BLEACH (my hair currently has no bleach or coloring). My hair is probably half as thick now as it was a month ago. My curls are gone. My hair has new layers from the amount of breakage I had. My hair has always been my pride and joy because of its thickness, shine and curls. Now I will likely spend months reviving my hair from this hell. I am absolutely devastated.

I bought this because I love Monday Repair Shampoo and thought I’d give the Moisture Shampoo a try since it’s winter time. After a couple uses I noticed my roots were visible greasy after blow drying. I thought ok maybe I didn’t rinse it all out, or maybe it’s product build up. So I went out and bought a clarifying shampoo. So the next time i used this shampoo I made sure to rinse well and I let it air dry. The next morning my roots are visibly greasy. I’d say this shampoo doesn’t work well for fine thin hair.

I am a Master Stylist, and I try any and every product I can get my hands on. I kept hearing “Monday” recommended to me, so I tried the moisture. Seeing “hyaluronic acid” listed piqued my interest, considering it is a major staple in my skincare routine. I haven’t been impressed or wowed by shampoo and conditioner in years until now! I am absolutely floored by how healthy and shiny my hair is without it being weighed down or oily, I’m losing less hair in the shower, and I can even go longer between washes. Monday has won over this hairdresser’s heart, and I’ve been recommending it to all my clients.
